Introduction to Sewing Basics

These pages are divided into three sections. The first describes techniques for both hand and machine sewing. The second section focuses on the basics of hand sewing. Some of the hand techniques may come in handy even when using a sewing machine. The third section has machine sewing techniques.

All the projects shown were made from repurposed fabric. Black thread was used to make the stitches easy to see.
